Mar, tell the client to come to me.  I will advise them how to proceed  for ?1000 per block.

I may well do Colin, thanks...

Following on from this, I noticed that secretary of state said at the beginning of August that he had instructed major fire door suppliers to meet to establish a plan of action to address failings which have been identified with fire doors. Has anyone hear the outcome of these meetings?

What would you advice be to clients who have installed large numbers of 'certificated' fire doors which have subsequently failed recent tests?

My advice?  I would give them the links to all the Government-issued guidance on the subject and advise them to read it... we're no longer in a world where this is a purely technical issue.

Probably speak to their solicitor about suing for the cost of full replacement.
