Auto-mist personal protection systems - pros/cons

Evening all,

I may have the need to support the installation of a Auto-mist personal protection systems (for use in a flat) and was wondering whether anyone had any useful 'lessons learnt' from their experiences of them.

watch siting of the smoke detectors to avoid dowsing vulnerable people in water.
