37½ hours Monday to Friday
Leicestershire Partnership Trust hosts the Facilities Consortium, which provides the complete range of services including, Estates, Catering, Housekeeping, Property Management, Capital and Developments, Statutory Standards and a range of general support services. These services are provided to the host Trust and six Primary Care Trusts and other agencies such as the Strategic Health Authority within the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland.
The successful applicant’s will probably have been either a Fire Service Inspecting Officer or a Building Control Officer who can demonstrate a clear understanding of Fire Protection principles. Knowledge of the NHS suite of fire safety documents is deemed to be essential. As well as advising on policy and working closely with managers you will be carrying out Fire Risk assessments and practical fire precautions surveys.

You will be expected to assist the Trust and its partners in the management implementation and monitoring of new and existing fire safety guidance issued by the NHS Estates ie Firecode.
The person, the Trust is seeking will have appropriate fire engineering ie IFE or Building Control qualifications or other qualifications commensurate with the main duties of the post.
