What courses?

A friend of mine is a chartered surveyor and wants to get into the world of fire risk assessing. As well as the obvious shadowing etc what courses do you guys suggest for him to get near to my level (I have FRACS) possibly a series of modules getting increasingly difficult would be beneficial to him
