I am after a copy of BS 5446-3:2005 - any idea if this is available without cost or if there is similar guide that is gratis.

Its still on the BSI website - I guess for people who need to reference. "only" ?109 if you are a member. Maybe befriend an old fire alarm installer, get them drunk and ask him to recite the relevant pages...most can quote them by heart... ;D

Does it have to be that one and not the current one? It might be on our subscription, the current one certainly should.
