Anyone got any info? (I'm on the holiday wagon and was looking for something to cure my insomnia)

I wrote to the ODPM and asked if they had info as to when they thought the guides would be issed.

Their reply was to the effect that, they will issue guides in May 2006. Now he couldn't tell me if this would be done for all 11 or they would issue some and then continue to do so periodically before October.

He did say they would be available on the web for free download, so come May, we should see something.......oh look there goes a pig flying over my tree.

Latest info I think though, how true it is I'm not sure??

The new guides under the Regulatory Reform Order on Fire Safety in buildings will be published in June 2006 and will be available on the Department of Communities and Local Government (things are always changing) website from that date.

Lets see if it can be stretched to July next??
