Can anyone give me some guidence on the guidence! Where does a local Leisure centre fit in? Gym,swimming pool, sports hall, maybe a bar, definately offices? is it small places of assembly? is it offices, maybe educational! or even Healthcare (if you go there to improve your health and fitness)
John Webb:
A Leisure Centre as you describe would come under several headings - place of assembly and possibly offices and shops for starters. As you say, possibly educational if lessons are given, but health care probably only if you have a clinic treating sports injuries or the like.
I sometimes have a similar problem with some of the more complex church buildings!
kurnal:
Defo the assembly buildings guidance large or small. Any office accommodation in there is likely to be ancillary to its main purpose as a leisure centre.

Thanks for that, I thought small assembly was the nearest fit for its primary use.
