I'm on about my 5th attempt now and getting closer every time,just had my interview and will find out very soon how I got on. I think the trick to it all is gaining experience of the recruitment process, the more you understand about and what they are looking for the better your chances are, I think there are very few ppl that get in on their first attempt.

hi guys,

I currently work in fire service control and have done for the past 4years, im trying to get into gmc as a firefighter, so far have passed the nfq test and the physical have got my pqa telephone interview on Monday - i have a basic understanding of the PQA's but was wondering if anyone has any tips, as the next stage will be the face to face interview.

The recruitment process is in a slightly different order to usual this time as they had problems with the nfq results being delayed over xmas!

Any info/ advice appreciated!
