ADT Conventional MX 4 zone panel

Hi

Has anyone got experience of these panels, tried putting one on engineers test today, but couldn't get it to work.
I had the little instruction booklet which about as much use as the panel!

Did you push the button on the pcb inside??

You dont need to use the walk test.
There is nothing stopping you testing lots of devices and then reseting the panel.

It's handy if you want to walk test the sounders.

Hi, Yeah I pressed the button inside and the test light lit, but it wouldn't cancel the alarms. Cheers

Theres something else (obviously!) that you have to do but I just can't remember as it's over 5 years since I worked on one.
Can't even find a soft copy of the manual but have faith!!

is it an MXC 4 zone conventional panel, or one of the old minerva 4 zone conventional panels?

If it is an MXC on the inside back bord there is a black button on the top right hand corner, you have to press and hold that untill the light for test mode comes on.
then you use the front door controls to select what zones you ish to put into walk test (use the return key to scroll and te enter button to enter each zone into test)

if its the old minerva 4, you set the dill switches on the back of the front door for the zones you wish to put into walk test, then press reset.

On a similar note,the panel i spoke about to you recently..should a fault be generated if the aux supply fuse blows?

Who blew a fuse then? 
TBH I cant remember if the AUX 24 is monitored or not - I really wish that handy CD I had hadn't got broken!

nah not guilty.

got a call out to the panel and the aux fuse had blown for no reason. The fault was only picked up as the access control relay is tied into it and all the doors mags were open.
