1955 Fire Engine
« on: June 13, 2006, 08:46:56 PM »
Anybody know of anyone who may be interested in buying a 1955 fire engine, it's not in great shape but as far as I know it's all there!
It belongs to a mate of mine who has decided he needs the space so he's going to cut it up for scrap... just seemed a shame if there was anyone out there who might like it?

The Fire Service Preservation Group has a monthly newsletter 'Off the Run' for its members. They are willing to advertise (non-members) appliances as well as their own for sale in the hope that appliances will thus be preserved. Contact details:
email: offtherun@carmathenshire.freeserve.co.uk
or in writing to:
Tony Jones, Editor 'Off the Run',
81 Maescader,
PENCADER,
Carmarthenshire,
SA39 9HH

or Fax: 01559 384922

Hope this is of help.
