Article 20 The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

Does article 20 Provision of information to employers and the self-employed from outside undertakings, apply to fire-fighters when attending the premises of the responsible person? If so how does he discharge this requirement?
All my responses only apply to England and Wales and they are an overview of the subject, hopefully it will point you in the right direction and always treat with caution.

No information provided for fire-fighters is covered in article 13 "..... arrange any necessary contacts with external emergency services, particularly as regards
fire-fighting, rescue work, first-aid and emergency medical care."

Failure to comply with article 20 is only an offence by virtue of article 32 if relevant persons are placed at risk, Firefighters are not relevant persons when fighting fires.

It includes Fire-fighters when they are not fire fighting - IE a Fire Safety inspection.
