Death of East Sussex Firefighters
« on: December 03, 2006, 11:10:58 PM »
I just heard on the news that 2 firefighters from East Sussex have been killed at a fireworks storage facility.  Lets all just share a moment to think of them, their families and colleagues at this time.

I echo your sentiment Kaiser and hope that the feelings of  sympathy and sorrow that are felt by all of us who have associations with the fire industry, will bring some comfort and support to those affected by this tragic loss.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends and, of course, colleagues of the Firefighters who lost thier lives this week in the tragedy in Sussex.

This comes as an unwelcome reminder of just how dangerous the job can be but let it also be a reminder of why we do the job in the first place!!

TAKE CARE ALL OF YOU!!!

A nasty reminder of what it's all about, saving of human life. My thoughts are with their families and colleagues, my thanks and admiration to those who continue to do such a dangerous job.
