The Company I Work For Has Just Been Given A Service Contract On This Panel But If I Can Remember Right This Is A Very Old Addressable Panel Which Only Has Basic Functions Like Silence Then You Get A Pen And Press It Through The Hole To Reset. Is There Any Hidden Features In The Main Board To Put This In A One Man Walk Test Or To Disable Sounders. It Has A Switch To Turn Off Remote Signal And That Is It (on The Front Of Panel).

If I Remember Right It Had Three Buttons All In A Line +/- Increments, Scroll And Enter But I Cant Remember If It Can Go In To Test Mode And If Did How Did It Tell You. There Is No Text Display Screen  Just The Detector Number And Last Number Device Seen? I Do Stand To Be Corrected On This.

Best of British , they are only addressable , a right pig of a panel , I don't remember any OMT on these , the small reset button is to do with the power up reset if you log any more devices onto the system. It works adding the next available unused number , once spent 2 days on a fault as it wont log on pass the detector , which in my case was 004 that was causing problems , how many jobs have you been on that are actually addressed how it was wired ?
Any  new style detectors will require a new blown eprom , i think it was called a poo chip.( Says it all really)
I would advise your customer to allow in their budget some contingency's for upgrade.
Note : Don't be surprised if you see devices in the panel , power supply etc , obviously if equipment was removed the panel eprom would still see it , and nobody's going to readdress the whole system.
Its time to make a counter attack !

Now I Remember, there Was A Fault On A Panel Saying Last Device Number Is 10 So Say And I Do Think That Fault Is Still On The System But When I Tested All Detectors And Sounders 100% All Worked So Client Did Not Want Fault Or Upgrade  On System To Be Done. I Dont Service This Panel No More But My Mate Does.
