some advice on retained position in tayside

i recently applied for a position as a retained firefighter in tayside they wrote back to say the are full at the moment and they will keep me on file for 12 months and will phone me if any vacancies arrise i was wondering if they actually get bck to u if vacancies arrise and when i apllied i didnt have a car license and now i do how can i tell them about my change of sircumstances thanks Ryan

If you are keen, get down to the station when it's drill night and tell the officer in charge in person. It may not have any influence at all, but it may swing his decision in future, you really never know.  Good luck anyway.
