London fire brigade\ South Wales

Hi everybody first post in ages from me but does anybody employed by London Fire Brigade know anything if they intend to recruit this year.  Also really interested in South Wales.  Want to crack landing a brigade soon as i'm getting on (28)!!

Hiya,

I first choice fire service is actually South Wales.  I have been reliably informed they are unlikely to be recruiting for another couple of years which is why I am hoping to get in somewhere else in the meantime and then transfer in.

Thanks for your reply Cat.  London are recruiting graduates only! (must be the recession).  Any hopefully they will open general recruitment soon.
