SHTM 84 as its the most modern. We gave you penicillin, the steam engine, the telephone and the TV. Now we have donated SHTM 84 to our less developed neighbours. If you want a copy let me know.

It is very healthy to see the debate on this issue.
Free swings, sprinklers, self closers, protected areas?

The experienced fire advisor can advise on the best tailored solution to minimise risk in any particular home.

Does the Home owner have the wherewithal to implement the best advice!

Ay, there's the rub; as Hamlet, that famous risk assessor put it!

Hamlet did risk assessments? I thought he sold cigars. Another moonlighter.
Graeme, I hae Irn Bru but what about bridies. One hears that they cannot be purchased in chip shops any more?

Colin,
Never seen one.Steak pie,Scotch pie, haggis supper and all the usual healthy options are still on the menu, even ostrich burgers.
Bridies however very popular in the Bakers.

Mind you i don't frequent chippies often,a friend told me.  cough cough!

Graeme, Where about in God's fair country are you? I am flying into Edinburgh to deliver 4 days training for the Scottish Fire Services College on Sunday night. I could bring a copy with me if you wish. Since chip shops in Scotland no longer do bridies, the charge will be a haddock supper with loads of salt and chip sauce.

Graeme, If you wish to collect it in person one evening, we usually spend the evenings in the local hostelry, putting the world to right with members of the course. Let me know.
