i have to give a 20 minute lecture on the BA control board.
Is there anybody out there with any useful info or a similar lecture that could help me please.

I would go through the reasons of entry controlling, why it came about (smithfields) the way it has developed how it works and what the future is (digital rapid deployment etc)

Depending on who your target audience is i would suggest you consider your aim and your learning objectives. Traditionally lectures have been structured on the 'design, use and limitations' format. Which quite frankly is largely irrelevant as we all know what it looks like, what its made from and what its used for. Think hard about the 'limitations' however.
I would suggest that 20 minutes input on how to establish the board at an ECP, complete tallies and record details on the board correctly would be time well spent on any audience. This will address the greatest 'limitation' of all which is operator awareness on the equipments correct use.
