Five London Hospital fires
« on: September 08, 2011, 10:50:40 AM »
I am doing some research into the five fires that occurred in London hospitals during 2008/2009
I have the report prepared by NHS London which makes interesting reading. It does not provide any info on the causes of the fires.
Does anyone have further info on the causes of the fires or any links
Thanks, DF

I wouldn't believe all you read anyway - just seen this quote from the report regarding the UCH fire:

"The fire occurred in the middle of the night when no patients were in the building. The Elizabeth Garrett Anderson (EGA) building houses the maternity and neonatal services and is connected to the Rosenheim building by underground tunnels."

So all the new mums on the third floor who were getting very agitated as smoke was filling the ward were a figment of my imagination that night??
