I'm seconded to the role of H&S Champion (and have been for over a year now), looking after Hermes Parcelnet sites in the northern half of the uK.

Hi All,

My name is Colin and I'm a Risk, Health and Safety Manager, with responsibility for fire safety in 17 buildings.  I'm currently working through some fire qualifications, and recently completed the CFPA Diploma in Fire Prevention. Fire is a massive interest and this forum has already been an invaluable resource.

After a year out for many reasons I'm back (such as I couldn't actually get onto the forum for ages and got here by mistake today!!). Busy as ever so won't be posting much but hope to plunder the resources of FireNet again for information on issues that are not common knowledge to many.

Extremely sorry to hear about the passing of Kurnal earlier this year - a man I'd only met a few times but held in great esteem.
