Fire Alarm- Diasbled Toilets

Would any of my colleagues out there expect to see a visual alarm device/emergency lighting in an existing disabled toilet in a small village hall?

Hi Jake, I wouldn't unless there were particular circumstances that increased the risk of numbers of visually impaired or deaf people using the hall. To be honest I wouldn't always expect to see a fire alarm system in a small village hall.

Yes. Why not? Someone is keeping the Fire Risk Assessment up to date.

Emergency lighting might be important so they can see where the emergency assistance cord is if the power goes off.
As for the strobe it is certainly a standard recommendation for new builds and new installations but it puzzles me why it is assumed that people with a hearing impairment will use the disabled toilet.
