Check out www.firescout.co.uk any contributions.
All my responses only apply to England and Wales and they are an overview of the subject, hopefully it will point you in the right direction and always treat with caution.

I think there should be a means to make comment for each submission to point out how and why the perceived risks are not necessarily present. Looks to me that, in some cases, someone has seen a door propped open and just made an assumption that there was a fire risk.

A comment ability as mentioned would help not only for discussion but to correct errors as there is the odd one

What on earth are all these alleged possible fines for?  You would not get prosecuted for many of these issues even in the well known peoples republics of certain English counties.

I cant criticise the website too much as I have already contributed a few photos ;).

But there are one or two iffy/questionable photos, for instance Laura's 'No Sign of Fire Safety' infers that a prosecution may proceed on the grounds of no fire extinguisher signage!!!!!  Really??? (Er, its not a legal requirement :o)

Not even Colin's favourite fire safety team in his favourite Brigade would get close to considering it!!

Anyone seen 'Theodore Firedoor' on Facebook?

I've made a few comments on some of their pictures that are a bit... questionable.
