Perhaps under the Freedom of Information Act the BBC should have asked how many IO the fire service had 5 years ago and how many they have now.

I like the smug suited fire consultant towards the end of the film saying he spotted more problems than the under cover assessor employed by the BBC at the grosvenor. he pointed out some hinges which werent up to spec. give the guy an MBE for services to fire safety. what a hero. brave soul.

These things always end up pointing out minor deviations that aren't necessarily dangerous in themselves. Its good to keep on top of this stuff (we all find things from time to time). But lets not start saying all our hotels are death-traps  cos they aren't.

Clevey, name and shame! You know how I love gossip. Who was the smart suited consultant.  it cant have been me, as I have not worn any of the new Italian suits I bought in America this year. Plus I think that hinges on fire doors are really boring.

Was brilliant! He couldn't even spit the words out fast enough to say he'd one upped the fire consultant, and what had he found? They weren't the right hinges even though there were 3 hinges. FRONT PAGE NEWS
