What has happened to Firex?

What has happened to Firex?

Since it's move down south, its shrunk and is a much paler version of what is was. Even the subjects covered by the lectures/presentations were not (IMO) as interesting or useful as other years.

Did anyone else here go and have an opinion?

I might not bother next year - although it is a day out of the office :)

Not convinced its any smaller.

The stands are always dominated by people selling fire alarm systems.

What did you expect to see at Firex?   Certainly the reports back I 've had from my members indicates that it was all buzzing where they were.

That was the sound of the buzzers on the fire alarm panels, Lin.

Maybe that's been the problem Col - not enough buzz.

I warned recently of the changes to EN54 but did not see this as a consequence!
