Fire protecting a cupboard with shared ceiling plenum space

Hi everyone,
 
I would be grateful for any advice on the above.
 
I have a project which will involve stripping out some ceilings and making good.
 
I have noticed that a cupboard with it's own door has a plenum which is shared with the office room with no division by way of smoke curtain etc.
 
Would this be required? The store isn't intended to contain anything particularly dangerous.
 
I have (attempted to) add a photo to illustrate the issue.

Wouldn't worry from a life safety point of view. I've met a few insurance companies who have not liked similar situations

So much for a well-secured electrical installation and fire alarm system! I am always on the back of sparks to secure their wiring clear of ceiling grids such that a ceiling grid collapse doesn't result in a collapse of the wiring which would no doubt be a serious hazard for fire fighters.

Yes the wiring has effectively been condemned and is going to be redone.
