Bs 9999 2008
« on: October 06, 2019, 07:14:21 PM »
Does anyone know if there was an admission by the authors of this standard with regards to the calculation of exit capacity when door width is less than 1050mm. Clearly there was a major re-think in the 2017 version of the standard which would seem to imply that a mistake was made. I have several clubs whose occupancy numbers were cut drastically by NIFRS as exit widths were non-compliant with current guidance but were completely compliant with 9999 2008 and given completion certificates from Building Control.
